Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat until it shimmers. Add 1 pound of ground beef, breaking it apart into small crumbles. Cook for about 6–8 minutes until the beef is fully browned.
  2. Once the ground beef is browned, push it to one side of the skillet. Add one diced onion and 2 cloves of minced garlic to the empty side and sauté for about 3 minutes.
  3. Stir in 4 cups of broccoli florets, mixing them well with the beef, onion, and garlic. Allow the broccoli to sauté for 1 minute.
  4. Sprinkle in salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to taste. Stir well to combine all ingredients.
  5. Cover the skillet with a lid and let it cook for 5–7 minutes over medium heat.
  6. Reduce the heat to low, then pour in 1/2 cup of heavy cream, stirring gently to combine.
  7. Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the creamy mixture, then cover the skillet again.
  8. If desired, drizzle in 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce and sprinkle red pepper flakes before stirring.
  9. Serve the Keto Hamburger Broccoli Skillet hot straight from the pan.
