Preparation Steps
- In a small bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, oregano, lemon zest, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well blended.
- Place chicken breasts in a shallow dish or plastic bag and pour the marinade over them, ensuring each piece is coated. Seal and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat, around 375–400°F (190–200°C).
- Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing excess marinade to drip off, and discard the remaining marinade.
- Place chicken on the grill and cook for 6–7 minutes on one side, then flip and grill for an additional 6–7 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Transfer the grilled chicken to a cutting board and let it rest for 5 minutes to allow juices to redistribute.
- Before serving, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the chicken for added flavor.
