For the Cream Mixture
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 cup Milk
For Assembly
  • 24 pieces Ladyfingers (or Cake)
  • 6 Small Glasses or Jars

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, combine hulled and sliced strawberries with granulated sugar and let sit for about 10 minutes until syrupy.
  2. In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese and powdered sugar with an electric mixer until smooth, then add milk and vanilla and mix until velvety.
  3. Layer trifles in clear glasses starting with broken pieces of ladyfingers, followed by cream cheese mixture, and then macerated strawberries. Repeat layers.
  4. Top each trifle with a layer of fresh blueberries.
  5. Cover trifles with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  6. Serve chilled, optionally garnishing with fresh mint leaves.
