Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Slice fresh strawberries and sprinkle with granulated sugar. Let macerate for 20 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, combine mascarpone, heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla. Whisk until stiff peaks form.
  3. Mix water and orange juice in a shallow dish. Dip ladyfingers quickly and layer half in the dish.
  4. Spread half of the cream mixture over the ladyfingers.
  5. Layer half of the macerated strawberries on top.
  6. Repeat with the remaining ladyfingers, cream, and strawberries.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
  8. Garnish with additional sliced strawberries before serving.
