- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x9-inch baking dish.
- In a medium skillet, heat olive oil, then add diced onion, minced garlic, and salt. Sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Raise the heat and add turkey Italian sausage, browning it while breaking it up. Drain excess fat once done.
- Mix in the marinara sauce and 1/2 cup of water. Let simmer on low for a few minutes.
- In a bowl, combine ricotta, egg, Parmesan, parsley, salt and pepper, mixing until smooth.
- Layer the lasagna starting with meat sauce, followed by noodles, ricotta mixture, more sauce, and mozzarella. Repeat.
- Bake uncovered for 30-40 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
