- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin.
- Combine ground beef with garlic and onion powder in a bowl and mix well.
- Roll the meat mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Unroll the crescent dough and cut into squares large enough to line the muffin cups.
- Press each square of dough into the greased muffin tin to form cups.
- Place one meatball in each crescent cup and drizzle BBQ sauce on top.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until the dough is golden brown and meatballs are cooked through.
- If using cheese, sprinkle it over the cups during the last 5 minutes of baking.
- Cool for a few minutes before serving with BBQ sauce or ranch dressing.
