Step-by-Step Instructions for Beef And Broccoli
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine thinly sliced flank steak with soy sauce and cornstarch. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated flank steak and stir-fry for 4-5 minutes.
  3. In the same pan, add onion, garlic, and ginger. Sauté for about 2 minutes.
  4. Add broccoli florets and chicken broth or water. Cover to steam for about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Return browned beef to the pan. Pour in oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil. Toss everything together.
  6. Taste and season with salt and pepper. Adjust sauce or broth if needed before serving.
