Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Spicy Cajun Meatloaf
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onion and green bell pepper for 4-5 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 more minute. Remove the skillet and cool mixture.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, sautéed vegetables, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, Cajun seasoning, black pepper, cayenne, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix gently.
  5. Shape the mixture into a loaf on a greased baking sheet or in a loaf pan.
  6. To prepare the glaze, mix ketchup, brown sugar, and Creole mustard together. Spread over the top of the meatloaf.
  7. Bake for 55-60 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  8. Remove and let rest for 10 minutes, then slice and serve.
