Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, thyme, umami seasoning, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, and salt until smooth.
  3. Halve the cleaned morel mushrooms lengthwise and fill each half with the cream cheese mixture.
  4. Melt the salted butter and mix in the panko breadcrumbs to coat evenly.
  5. Press the stuffed side of each mushroom into the breadcrumb mixture and place them on the baking sheet.
  6. Bake the mushrooms for 15-20 minutes until tender and golden brown; broil for 2-3 minutes for extra crispiness.
  7. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving on a platter to impress your guests.
