Burger Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, chopped shallot, minced garlic, cheese, dried rosemary, onion powder, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into 8-10 equal portions and shape each into patties about ¾ inch thick.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil. Let it heat for about 2 minutes.
  4. Place the patties in the hot skillet. Cook them for 4-5 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes on the other side.
  5. Check for doneness, ensuring juices run clear and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Let the burgers rest for a minute before serving.
  6. Serve with gluten-free buns or wrapped in lettuce, and add your favorite toppings.
