  • 1 cup Heavy Cream Switch to full-fat coconut cream for dairy-free.

Preparation
  1. In a large slow cooker, whisk together plain Greek yogurt, salt, garam masala, cumin, ground ginger, turmeric, and minced garlic until well combined. Set to low while preparing the remaining ingredients.
  2. Add chicken and onion into the slow cooker, stirring to coat the chicken in the yogurt marinade.
  3. Pour the can of tomato sauce over the chicken mixture without stirring.
  4. Cook on high for 3-3.5 hours or low for 5-6 hours until chicken is fork-tender.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream and allow it to cook uncovered for an additional 10 minutes on high.
  6. Serve hot over basmati rice or naan, garnished with chopped cilantro.

Notes
