Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil over high heat. Once boiling, add the pasta from your mac and cheese box. Cook for 12 to 13 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender but slightly firm to the bite.
  2. Carefully drain the pasta in a colander, ensuring to shake off excess water. Return the drained pasta back to the warm pot.
  3. Add the cheese sauce packet and the four tablespoons of unsalted butter to the pasta. Stir vigorously for about 2–3 minutes until the butter fully melts and mixes into the cheese sauce.
  4. Gradually add drops of green food coloring into the pot, stirring continuously to achieve your desired spooky shade.
  5. Spoon the mac and cheese into bowls and sprinkle candy eyeballs on top. Serve immediately.
