  • 1 pkg crescent roll dough Puff pastry can be used for a flakier texture

  • 12 slices pepperoni Mini mozzarella balls or olives can be used as alternatives
For Dipping
  • 1 cup dipping sauce Optional, marinara or cheese sauce recommended

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the crescent dough and cut it into thin strips about 1/4 inch wide.
  3. Wrap the strips around each meatball, leaving an opening at the top for the eyes.
  4. Place the wrapped meatballs on the baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden.
  5. While baking, cut small circles of pepperoni or alternatives to serve as eyes.
  6. Once baked, attach the eyes to the meatballs with a dab of sauce or water.
