- In a medium-sized mixing bowl, slice two ripe avocados in half, removing the pit. Mash the avocados until smooth yet slightly chunky, about 2-3 minutes.
- Pour in the juice of one lime and add half a cup of sour cream to the avocado mixture. If using garlic, add at this stage. Mix thoroughly for about 1-2 minutes.
- Taste the mixture and sprinkle in a pinch of salt, adjusting as necessary. Stir thoroughly for about 30 seconds.
- Spoon the guacamole into a serving bowl, spreading it evenly and creating a swirly pattern on top.
- Crush a handful of blue corn chips to create 'debris' for your swamp, sprinkling them generously over the guacamole.
- Slice black olives in half and arrange them artfully on top of the guacamole to resemble spiders.
- Serve immediately with additional blue corn chips for dipping.
