Ingredients
  

For the Base
  • 1 bottle dry or semi-sweet white wine A variety of your choice
  • 1/4 cup Triple Sec Can swap with orange juice for a non-alcoholic version
  • 1/4 cup Simple Syrup Adjust to taste; honey or agave can be used
For the Fruits
  • 1 cup Sliced Strawberries Fresh and enhances sweetness
  • 1 cup Cherries Pitted and halved
  • 1 count Lime Sliced into wedges
  • 1 count Peach Sliced into bite-sized pieces
For the Fizz
  • 1 cup Lime Sparkling Water Can substitute with club soda or sparkling lemonade
For Garnish
  • 1 handful Basil Can use mint for a different flavor

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Begin by rinsing your strawberries, cherries, lime, and peach thoroughly under cold water. Then, slice the strawberries and peach into bite-sized pieces, and pit and halve the cherries. Slice the lime into thin wedges.
  2. In a large pitcher, combine your chosen dry or semi-sweet white wine with the triple sec and simple syrup. Stir gently to mix the ingredients well.
  3. Carefully add all prepared fruits into the pitcher with the wine mixture and gently stir everything together to ensure the fruits are evenly distributed.
  4. Cover the pitcher with plastic wrap or a lid and place it in the refrigerator to chill for a minimum of 1 hour and up to 8 hours.
  5. Just before serving, carefully pour in the lime sparkling water and give it a light stir to mix.
  6. Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the sangria into each glass, ensuring everyone gets a nice portion of the colorful fruits. Garnish with fresh basil sprigs.
