Preparation
- Begin by rinsing your strawberries, cherries, lime, and peach thoroughly under cold water. Then, slice the strawberries and peach into bite-sized pieces, and pit and halve the cherries. Slice the lime into thin wedges.
- In a large pitcher, combine your chosen dry or semi-sweet white wine with the triple sec and simple syrup. Stir gently to mix the ingredients well.
- Carefully add all prepared fruits into the pitcher with the wine mixture and gently stir everything together to ensure the fruits are evenly distributed.
- Cover the pitcher with plastic wrap or a lid and place it in the refrigerator to chill for a minimum of 1 hour and up to 8 hours.
- Just before serving, carefully pour in the lime sparkling water and give it a light stir to mix.
- Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the sangria into each glass, ensuring everyone gets a nice portion of the colorful fruits. Garnish with fresh basil sprigs.
