Cooking Steps
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 2 tablespoons of butter; melt completely for 1-2 minutes.
- Season 1 pound of salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides; place skin-side up in the hot skillet and cook for 3-5 minutes.
- Flip the salmon fillets once browned and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until internal temperature reaches 145°F.
- Remove salmon from the skillet and tent with aluminum foil to keep warm; lower heat to medium.
- Whisk together 1/2 cup of orange juice, 2 tablespoons of honey, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, and 2 minced garlic cloves in a bowl.
- Pour the orange juice mixture into the skillet; heat over medium for 3-5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return the salmon to the skillet, spooning the glaze over to coat; optionally add sliced orange rounds.
- Serve the salmon on a plate, drizzling any remaining glaze over the top, garnishing with parsley.
