- Cook the bacon over medium heat in a skillet until crispy, about 8–10 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels. Crumble and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef with crumbled bacon. Mix gently, divide, and shape into patties about ¾-inch thick with a small pocket for cheese.
- Place a cube of cheese into the pocket of each patty and seal the edges around it.
- Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes. Cook patties for about 5–7 minutes per side, until internal temperature reaches 160°F.
- Brush glaze onto both sides of burgers in the last minutes of cooking and let them cook for an additional 2–3 minutes.
- Remove burgers from heat, let rest for 5 minutes before serving on buns with preferred toppings.
