  • 0.25 cup Pure Maple Syrup

Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar for about 2 minutes until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, ground cinnamon, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  6. Fold in the peeled and diced apples and chopped walnuts until evenly distributed.
  7. Drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
  10. Whisk together the powdered sugar, maple syrup, and milk for the glaze until smooth.
  11. Drizzle the maple glaze over the cooled cookies and let it set before serving.
