For the Noodles

Step-by-Step Instructions for Wonton Soup
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork or shrimp, minced garlic, grated fresh ginger, and chopped green onions. Stir in soy sauce until well mixed. Allow to sit for 10 minutes.
  2. Take a wonton wrapper, place a small spoonful of filling in the center, dampen edges, fold to create a triangle, and press edges to seal. Repeat with remaining filling and set aside.
  3. In a large pot, add broth and bring to a gentle boil. Stir in minced garlic, minced ginger, and soy sauce. Let simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Carefully add wontons to the simmering broth. Cook for 4-5 minutes until they float. Gently stir to prevent sticking.
