Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by finely dicing 2–3 jalapenos and mincing 2 cloves of garlic.
  2. In a small saucepan, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced jalapenos and sauté for 5–7 minutes until soft. Then, add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  3. Remove saucepan from heat and whisk in ¼ cup Dijon mustard, ¼ cup yellow mustard, ⅓ cup honey, and 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar until smooth.
  4. Return to low heat and simmer for 5–8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Remove from heat, let cool completely and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
  6. Transfer the sauce to an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
