- Begin by finely dicing 2–3 jalapenos and mincing 2 cloves of garlic.
- In a small saucepan, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced jalapenos and sauté for 5–7 minutes until soft. Then, add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Remove saucepan from heat and whisk in ¼ cup Dijon mustard, ¼ cup yellow mustard, ⅓ cup honey, and 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar until smooth.
- Return to low heat and simmer for 5–8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat, let cool completely and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Transfer the sauce to an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
