Step-by-Step Instructions for Lemon Mint Juice
- Start by roughly chopping 3 fresh lemons and 1 lime, leaving the skin on for added flavor. Pluck about a handful of fresh mint leaves from the stems.
- In a high-powered blender, combine the chopped lemons, lime, mint leaves, and 1-2 tablespoons of maple syrup. Add approximately 4 cups of cold water for dilution. Optionally, include a handful of ice for a slushy effect.
- Blend everything on high for about 30-45 seconds until smooth.
- Place a fine mesh sieve over a large bowl and pour the blended mixture through it, pressing down to extract as much juice as possible, discarding the pulp.
- Pour the strained Lemonana into tall glasses filled with ice cubes and garnish with fresh mint or lemon peel if desired.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or acidity as needed before serving.
