Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to the high broiler setting.
  2. Line a baking sheet with foil and arrange the sliced tomatillos, whole garlic cloves, thick onion slices, and fresh pineapple slices on the sheet.
  3. Broil the ingredients for 10 minutes, watching for a nice char.
  4. Carefully flip the ingredients and broil for an additional 5 minutes.
